The holiday season is here. For our furry friends, the noise and excitement can be stressful and scary. Here are my Simple Tricks to Help My Pets Stay Untriggered by Holiday Noises

How do I naturally keep my pets calm and relaxed while the festivities unfold

1. Let’s Tire Our Furkids Out, Early! I play with my pets intensely and take Ruby on an extra-long (sniff-filled) walk – well before the chaos begins. A tired pet is a happy, relaxed pet!

2. We Create a Calm Retreat. My family prepares a cozy, dark space (room) for all our pets. We block out outside lights and noises to avoid unnecessary stress. I make sure I draw those curtains to avoid sudden flashes of light to penetrate this safe space.

3. Mask the Madness! I love to play soothing music or nature sounds to drown out those loud fireworks or sudden noises that can send so many pets into a panic. Actually, this is one of my favourite enjoyments – playing my favourite tunes on rather high volume (sorry neighbours – only on special occasions for my furry family 😊)

4. How I Keep My Furkid Calm, Naturally. I love Bach Flower Rescue Remedy. A few drops or globuli into the water bowl, some drops on treats and their (early) meal. As learned from my clients, drops on their fur and beddings give that extra bonus of calmness.

It’s that easy to keep to keep my pets zen.

Remember to start early with your preparations.
The natural, gentle odour- and tasteless Rescue Remedy drops or globuli are most effective when we use them well before the mayhem outside starts.

For best results get prepared with a room and music well before your pets tense up. Prevent panicking rather than “fire fight” panic attacks.
Now, let’s enjoy the upcoming holidays in a way that’s comfortable for both,
the quiet-loving pets and the party animals! 😊 🐾

Happy Holidays to you all – and see you next year!
